Sweet Chestnut Poles / Pricelist
NEWS: 01/12/2020 - Temporary Order closure still in effect . except for firewood locally.
Sorry folks, I still seem to be running at a backlog and all my attempts to stem the flow of new orders seems to be a bit in vain, so until further notice I am simply trying to avoid any new orders coming my way. That said if you are local(ish) and have a simple order for collection or delivery then it is worth contacting me and I will do my best.
Covid-19:
The pandemic has affected me in various ways, shows/course etc cancelled and installation orders put back. This means in some respects I am not much further in terms of clearing backlog as I was in March. If you do order and collect, then please obey current Covid Government directives, thanks.
Current stock:
I am coppicing sweet chestnut and some quality hazel coppice so I can supply some new orders ideally if local to PO9 area and thereabouts, but I still have lots of back orders to fill.
Firewood/kindling: (Good news!)
I have plenty of seasoned and unseasoned cordwood, splitting billets, and split firewood (sweet chestnut) which I am happy to sell locally and can do reduced prices for quantities over 2cubic metre - The legislation changes for selling 'ready to burn firewood' sub 20%moisture will affect my situation come 2022 (it will mean prices have to go up potentially considerably as I join the 'woodsure' scheme (mandatory for selling firweood,). So if you have the space, now is the time to stock up!. Please do contact me with any questions on this.
